There are a number of local agencies that offer testing for HIV and other STD’s, and the testing may be free depending on your income. We recommend that you make an appointment, first, despite some agencies saying they offer walk-in testing. You are probably already feeling anxious so the ability to get in and out in a short amount of time can often help ease that anxiety.
Just dial one of the numbers below and set your appointment time. Thirty minutes before your appointment, give Lou Go’s Taxi a call (505-324-6568) if you do not have your own transportation. By letting the dispatcher know that you are a CARS participant, a Lou Go’s taxi will be dispatched so that you are on time for you appointment. It can then take you back home or to work in the clean, safe, comfort of a Lou Go’s vehicle.
